We all have dreams, don't we? Some are small little dreams and others are much bigger. The Mornings with Mommy program started with a big dream of mine. As a newbie to Knoxville, Tennessee and to my church, I was itching to build connections with moms. Since I have an educational background (B.S. in Education) and am mom myself, I decided to put together a program that I thought moms and caregivers alike would love. After launching the first session in August 2009, people couldn't stop talking about it! After 7 years over 1,000 different families enjoyed the program in Knoxville alone! I never dreamed what plans God had for me from running the program to designing the curriculum. In the testing phase of the curriculum over 20 WELS churches launched the Mornings with Mommy curriculum. I am also thankful to my church- Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, for letting me implement my dream curriculum and funding the costs in running this program. And also to the many friends and churches who were the first to test this curriculum.  It's been a blessing to connect with caregivers in an educational playdate atmosphere and come out many friends ahead!

When I'm not immersed in everything Mornings with Mommy I enjoy other activities. Some of my favoritess are baking/cooking, hiking, water skiing, shopping, renovating, and just about anything to do with the beach. And of course, enjoying all these fun activities with my three beautiful children!
